It’s been over a year since I did my first Green Smoke review. Green Smoke is still an extremely well-known electronic cigarette brand. Since my first review a few things have changed with Green Smoke products, from packaging of filters to customer service, and my overall opinion as well. Green Smoke is located in Miami, FL which seems to be the stomping grounds for most of the best e-cigarette companies. They have been in business since December of 2008, and up until recently were considered the best or most popular brand ecig on the market. Eric over at GreenSmoke.com was kind enough to reach out and hook me up with a Green Smoke Pro Starter Kit for a re-review. He told me before I did this review that Green Smoke had made great strides to improve their cartomizers and batteries. He also asked me why I didn’t have Green Smoke ranked higher on my website. My answer was simple PRICE. I’ve questioned Green Smoke products quality. In fact Green Smoke’s products are of the highest quality, which correlates with their prices I’m sure, so I figured I needed to be fair and go into this review with an open mind and wallet so to speak.
Green Smoke offers over 5 different electronic cigarette starter kits on their website. The starter kit prices range from $69.99 for the Green Smoke Classic Kit to $159.99 for the Ultimate Kit. Now up until recently, Green Smoke didn’t offer the Classic Starter Kit,so their starting price was $89.99 for their express kit, which I don’t recommend buying just because it doesn’t come with 2 batteries. The Classic Kit for some reason can not be found on their website via GreenSmoke.com. Strange huh? You would think that they would want to blast out their most cost-effective 2 battery kit but they don’t. The Classic Kit is what changed this Green Smoke review drastically from last year. Electronic cigarette starter kits are becoming more and more affordable, and frankly no one wants to over pay more than $100 for anything. The classic kit is very comparable in price to most other 2 battery e cigarette starter kits. After using a Green Smoke coupon, the classic will run $66.49 and that is right in the mix of things considering what you get with your starter kit.
When it comes to cartomizers Green Smoke gets 5 stars for both vapor production and throat hit. I’m not sure how or what they did to update their filters, but they are much stronger in taste compared to last time I tried them out. I was warned when I requested strong strength filters that it would be stout and it lived up to the warning. These cartomizers do produce a bunch of vapor and I would say each filter is comparable to a little over a pack of traditional cigarettes. Green Smoke flavors include 3 different styles of tobacco, menthol, mocha, chocolate, and vanilla. Nicotine levels for cartridges range from 0 nicotine to 1.8% nicotine.
Batteries from Green Smoke come in two sizes, long and short. They do not offer a manual battery option. This made me kind of sad, cause I’m a manual battery fan all day. They do offer different designs for their batteries. They come in white, pink, and 8 different designer battery skins. LED tips on the white and pink battery can be selected to glow red or green. If you go with a designer battery the only glow green. Battery prices on GreenSmoke.com seem a little expensive compared to other brands, but these batteries are of very high quality. My brother in-law has used Green Smoke as his brand of choice for over a year and has only had to replace one battery, and Green Smoke did that for FREE.
Green Smoke accessories are limited. By limited, I mean they don’t have a personal charging case for their batteries. I’m seeing this more and more lately in my reviews of other electronic cigarette brands and I’m not sure why companies wouldn’t offer one. I did ask Green Smoke if they would start offering PCC in the future and they said “Yes”. Green Smoke does offer some different carrying case options for batteries and filters but other than that, there is not much to say.
Green Smoke offers a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee on starter kits purchased on GreenSmoke.com. On top of the Guarantee they have a lifetime warranty on all batteries purchased on GreenSmoke.com. Both these are pretty standard with most ecig companies. The lifetime warranty only covers manufacturer defects, not-self inflicted damage, so smoker beware. Green Smoke also offers free shipping for retail customers within the United States on orders over $25, which is pretty freaking awesome!
Use Geen Smoke Coupon disc5-26213 to save 5% on any Greensmoke.com order. Unfortunately this is a one time use coupon so use it wisely. There are no minimum purchase with this coupon, so save when you want to save.

Not to sound like a broken record, but quality, quality, quality! Green Smoke offers a level of quality in their products that’s unmatched by other electronic cigarette companies. The Green Smoke filters are some of the hardest hitting and best tasting cartridges I’ve tried. Vapor production and throat hit were both AWESOME!
The price of Green Smoke’s starter kits just don’t sit well with my wallet. I feel that all the starter kits on their website are just a little over priced compared to other companies. However, they do now offer the classic kit, but it’s not on their website, you have to find out about it through websites like mine. Another thing that saddened with Green Smoke, was their batteries do not come in a manual style. Green Smoke also does not offer a personal charging case, which is strange considering they are one of the biggest electronic cigarette providers.
